Justin Jaucian - Acupuncturist / Qi Gong Instructor
Greetings! I’ve been on the staff of In
Balance Center since September 2007, teaching classes and seeing
patients for acupuncture/herbal medicine treatment. My professional
specialties lie in two distinct yet interwoven areas:
Treatment of pain syndromes,
as a result of having administered thousands of treatments since
graduating from the award-winning Pacific College of Oriental
Medicine. I possess the experience which comes from seeing a wide
spectrum of patients as well as working in partnership with
physicians from the conventional medical community who specialize in
the treatment of pain. I also speak and listen to you as “someone
who’s worn the shoes”, having experienced and overcome numerous
physical and psychospiritual disease states using acupuncture,
medicinal herbs, dietary modification, qigong, and meditation. My
work with you has as its goal a return to a state of balance, not
simply temporary masking of symptoms.
A few examples of pain syndromes which respond
well to acupuncture and herbs are neck pain, low back pain,
sciatica-type pain, pain in the joints, radiating pain in the arms
&/or legs, and facial pain. Additionally, I have treated, with
outstanding clinical results, allergies and other respiratory
disharmonies, fatigue, insomnia, digestive disharmonies, and
gynecological conditions ranging from PMS to hot flashes.
Offering classes/workshops in energetic
cultivation.
Variously known as Qi, Ki,
Prana, and Ruah, the spiritual energies pervading
Creation offer us the means for profound healing and accelerated
evolution, if only we open ourselves to work with them. Since 1999 I
have been practicing qigong and meditation, and attribute much of my
skill as a healer to plumbing the depths of this ancient science.
Think of qigong (chee gohng) as
movement-guided breathing. Through use of intention and slow,
meditative movements, one can literally breathe Qi into a certain
area of the body such as an organ, muscle group, or etheric channel.
The deep, controlled breathing employed during practice is also
great for activating the parasympathetic nervous system (“rest and
digest” mode) and mastering the stress response.
A fact that remains out of the awareness of
most people is that the spark of regeneration (that is, self-healing
ability) is and has always been an indwelling reality. It is
my hope that through these offerings more of us come to recognize
this simple yet empowering fact and use the techniques shared to
consciously create and enjoy a life of health, wholeness, and
fulfillment. Come join us for our weekly qigong class!
Those considering acupuncture treatment should
be aware that certain insurance companies do reimburse for this
modality..
Financially flexible payment options may also be arranged. Contact
me through any of the channels listed below for details.
