April

April Eichhorn - Yoga Instructor / Phoenix Rising Practitioner

April is a certified Jivamukti yoga instructor, certified Phoenix Rising yoga therapist and teacher. Both the Jivamukti method and Phoenix Rising method have inspired her to compassionately serve others on their journey of self-awareness. Through the grace of her teachers, Sharon Gannon and David Life, founders of Jivamukti yoga, and Elissa Cobb and Karen Hasskarl of Phoneix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT), she has developed a keen ability to ‘meet students where they are at.’ Her classes have been described as a ‘tune up’ for your entire being. Regardless of the style, her classes are challenging, intellectually stimulating and empowering. April currently teaches weekly group Jivamukti yoga classes at our studio and gives private yoga sessions and yoga therapy sessions by appointment.

Christie

Christie Iurato - Yoga Instructor, Theta Healer & Wellness Guide

Christie lives a life of full intention to wholeness and health. She began practicing yoga at the age of 15, which sparked a huge initiative for growth. She founded her own personal healing business, OmWorks when she was 18 years old. As well as creating sacred space wherever she goes, she maintains grounded and spirit centered healing in many forms (through homes, energy work and wellness & nutrition counseling).

Christie managed a local art gallery and jewelry shop for many years and was able to develop and practice the art of display, placement and design. Since then, she has immersed herself in a working and living environment that has been conducive to that development. She then managed a unique Asian/Eastern furniture store, where she again had the wonderful opportunity to learn from a great designer and be immersed in the practice again. She founded OmWorks in 2002, and has clients spanning from New Jersey to New York to Pennsylvania.

In addition to OmWorks, Christie is also a Certified Theta Healer. If you’re interested in an energy session, contact Christie for any questions or to set up an appointment. www.om-works.com

Beth

Jesse Bayer - Yoga Instructor

I fell in love with yoga at the tender age of 34 following a health crisis that had essentially rendered me physically weak and hopelessly depressed. I had spent years as a dancer and as a competitive racquetball player and when my body would no longer cooperate, I sank into despair. I knew I needed to challenge myself, my body and my mind in order to be happy again and full of the positive love of life I had always had. The beautiful marriage between breath and movement transformed my depleted body and gave energy and interest back to my mind. Each new class I took encouraged me to move forward not only with my practice but with my life. I decided to become a teacher because I wanted to share that life changing experience with others. I completed my yoga teacher training program under the direction of Master Yogi Stefanie Pappas at Devalila Yoga. The training had a profound effect because I learned the deeper aspects of yoga beyond physical practice and into the metaphysical, psychological and philosophical beliefs that have become for me the foundation and sustenance of my practice. My practice as well as my teaching style, continue to morph with every new student I meet and with every new experience I have. I have created my own blend of hatha, vinyasa and pranayama to provide my students with a balanced class designed to meet their own specific needs and desires and to teach them the benefits of the continued learning process that is Yoga.

Nikki Wein

Niki Wein - Yoga Instructor

Niki Wein has dedicated her life to balancing bodies, homes, and lives through Massage, Acupressure, Yoga, and Feng Shui. Most of this work has been done on the west coast, where she lived, studied, and practiced for nearly 10 year; and she feels honored to be here, now sharing what she knows and what she loves.

Her Body Work and Massage therapy practice is an eclectic mix, including influences from Swedish massage, Esalen, Tui Na, Shiatsu, and Jin Shin Acupressure. She has studied at Esalen in Big Sur, CA as well as at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA. The Esalen Style of bodywork that she uses was created with Swedish massage, Chinese medicine, and meditation in mind. She uses long, slow, tai chi-like strokes to seamlessly massage your torso, arms, legs, hands, feet, neck, and your spirit into a united whole. This combined with her integrative massage techniques and the ancient wisdoms of acupressure’s points, which are used to release muscle tension, increase blood circulation, and create openings within your body, mind, and spirit all come together creating a unique and wonderful melding of relaxation, healing, and integration.

Niki says "Because each client is different, and because each day we are different, no two massages will be the same. I use my extensive background and the information your body gives me to create a completely specialized and totally relaxing massage."

She offers sessions in Massage, Acupressure, Acu-Massage, Yoga, Yoga with Massage, and Feng Shui consultations.

Niki found yoga after a debilitating accident left her emotionally and physically traumatized… and she fell in love at first breath. Yoga helped her find her ground, find peace, joy, and even a playfulness in life again. She began studying daily with many of the amazing teacher Berkeley and San Francisco had to offer, including Scott Blossom, Chandra Easton, Dharmanidi, and Katchie Ananda.

As her yoga practice deepened, so did her desire to learn more about the ancient traditions of yoga and Tantra. Her curiosity lead her to UC Berkeley, India, Paris, and finally to New Hope, PA where she studied with Parvathi and the other amazing teachers of the Saraswati River Yoga School and received her Yoga Teacher Certification.

She uses her influences from Saraswati River Yoga, Anusara, Yin Yoga, Shadow Yoga, and Tantra to create a yoga class that encourages her students to find ground, peace, joy, and playfulness. She uses meditation, pranayama, chanting, and asana flows to persuade their mind to pause, relax, and open, allowing the body to move more fluidly and consciously. She uses soft and loving assists to gently and safely coax student’s bodies and spirits deeper into practice, while reminding them that wherever they happen to be is just perfect.

Niki teaches in classroom settings, offers Private Yoga sessions, as well as Private Yoga mixed with Massage, Massage, Acupressure, and Feng Shui consultation.
